LAUNCH OF THE WINE ARC BUSINESS SUPPORT PROGRAMME

Call for Applications – Business Development Acceleration

South Africa Wine, through its flagship programme The Wine Arc, in partnership with Sigma International, is excited to launch the Business Support and Acceleration Programme 2025/26.

This programme invites applications from Black-owned wine businesses looking for tailored support to grow and strengthen their brands. Over 6–8 months, 15 selected businesses will receive personalised guidance, mentorship, and market connections to help them thrive locally and internationally.

This programme combines The Wine Arc’s inclusivity vision with Sigma International’s 23 years of experience in enterprise and supplier development, ESG, and AI-supported business acceleration to create a practical, high-impact journey for participants.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Black-owned wine businesses (producers, brands, or value chain participants such as bottling, labelling, warehousing, or tourism) trading for 2 years or more.
  • Demonstrated potential and commitment to growth, innovation, and compliance.
  • Valid liquor licence.
  • Willingness to fully participate in the 6–8-month hybrid programme.

Required Documents

  • Company profile including: name, contact details, physical address, company background, ownership structure, vision, mission, core business, products/services, and current markets.
  • Company brochure
  • CIPC documents
  • MOI, share certificates, and agreements (if applicable)
  • Valid liquor licence (if trading locally)
  • 2025 financial statements or latest management accounts
  • Certified ID copies of owner/s
  • Proof of business address (e.g. utility bill)
  • Valid and current B-BBEE Sworn Affidavit/Certificate
