South Africa Wine’s new Graduate Placement Programme connects top tertiary graduates with our member companies through 6–12 month fixed-term roles. It’s a win-win: graduates gain hands-on experience, and the industry benefits from fresh talent and future leaders.

What the programme offers
The programme focuses on placing skilled black graduates (as defined by BBBEE codes) across the wine value chain, from viticulture and winemaking to data analytics, logistics, and export management.

How it works
We’ve partnered with Agrijob to offer our members free recruitment services. Agrijob will:

• Meet with you to understand your needs
• Source and shortlist top graduates
• Help with interviews, contracts, and onboarding

South Africa Wine contributes R5 000 per month toward the graduate’s salary. Members must top up to a market-related salary and handle statutory deductions.
