SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Our Social Development initiatives aim to promote ethical trade and fair labour practices throughout the wine value chain. We are committed to ensuring corrective actions are taken to mitigate ethical trade and human rights risks, thereby safeguarding the well-being of all industry stakeholders. By regularly updating the Corporate Social Investment (CSI) snapshot for the industry, we maintain transparency and accountability. Our efforts drive relevant Socio-Economic Development (SED) programmes that support best practices, including WIETA (Wine and Agricultural Ethical Trade Association) accreditation. Additionally, we collaborate with initiatives like Aware.org to prioritise harm reduction on a society-wide scale, reinforcing our dedication to social responsibility and sustainable development.
