STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Support our members (grape producers, wineries, and wholesalers – views are heard and well understood) by providing business and strategic related information focusing on value chain analysis, the legislative and policy environment, with the primary objective of creating an environment for the wine and brandy industry to thrive, prosper and to create investor confidence. This includes professional and meaningful engagement with key role-players and stakeholders in all spheres of government and organised agriculture business. Also, to serve as representative and to work closely with the Wine and Spirit Board, National Treasury, Drinks Federation SA, Aware and other entities like Transnet, Freight Forwarders, and suppliers across the wine-value-chain. In this regard we will work very close with all our members and actively consult with and seek input from members on key issues (manage the business and reputational risks – illicit trade, excise, logistics) and to serve as their direct point of contact.
